1) BACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY (TESTS CARRIED OUT IN EUROPE)

Testing the neutral anolyte against two bacterial isolates from the uterus of mares.

a ) - Streptococcus zooepidemicus

The microbial activity of the neutral anolyte was examined against methicillin sensory: Staphylococcus Aureus, Staphylococcus epermidis, Serratia marcescens, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Burkholderia Cepacia which are serious pathogens.

The bactericidal properties of the neutral anolyte were evaluated with three conventional disinfectants which are: Chlorhexidine at 0.1%, povidone iodine 0.02% and 80% ethanol. The concentrations chosen represent those generally used in the solutions prepared for washing hands. All disinfecting solutions were mixed with sterile distilled water at the time of their use. The sterile distilled water was used as control. The results are summarized in Tables 1 and 2.

The ANAQUA units and neutral anolyte products have been tested by large series of independent tests and on site trials, including hospitals, breweries, water treatment systems, farms of animals and agricultural environments.

TRIALS

 MADE

 ON SITES

Being environmentally friendly, the neutral anolyte is completely safe, non-toxic and non-irritating. It can be used where traditional chemicals do not produce the desired results or where traditional products cannot be used.

The findings show that the neutral anolyte is an inexpensive and powerful disinfectant with many benefits to be recommended in multiple solution, sterilization procedures, disinfection and water purification.

Conclusion : The number of bacteria was reduced below the detection limit after 10 seconds incubation in neutral anolyte. The bactericidal activity of the neutral anolyte was similar to that of ethanol at 80%, but greater than 0.1% chlorhexidine and 0.02% iodine Povidone. We conclude that the anolyte neutral is a powerful, cost-effective disinfectant.

CONCLUSION : This study shows that the disinfecting action of the neutral anolyte is fast and efficient. It takes one minute to eradicate E. coli and Salmonella sp. and, after 10 minutes, no more of the tested strains are present.
